If you need help making representations on the Local Authority’s local development plan, we can help.
GETTING YOUR LAND ALLOCATED
Local authorities are required to prepare local development plans to identify where development (e.g. housing) should take place. However, they cannot allocate land unless they know it is available. So if you have land and are looking to build in the future contact us now.
INFLUENCING OR COMMENTING ON PLANS
Local Plans set the planning policies that will shape the future of your area or borough and will affect you whether you work, live, visit or wish to invest in the area. Local Plans set out the scale and location of future development and the Authority’s requirements for design, infrastructure and sustainable development.
If you want to put forward ideas or object to what the local authority is proposing in its plan, you need to submit your case at the right time and in the right way. Your arguments will need to be supported by evidence and have regard to national planning policy and local needs.
We can make representations on your behalf and assist you in presenting a case at ‘examination’.
